Esprit d'Équipe Rowing · French-speaking Switzerland
Privacy policy
A relationship of trust begins with transparency.
Version dated 7 October 2026. This policy has been prepared with regard to the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and, where its conditions of application are met, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors from the European Union.
Who is the data controller?
Esprit d'Équipe Rowing, founded by Nicolas Coassin, based in Lausanne. For a request concerning your data, contact Nicolas Coassin on +41 76 370 25 12.
What data is collected?
The form collects your name, role, company, work email address, telephone number, approximate number of participants, preferred format, proposed timeframe, main objective and message. The source page and date are associated with the request. Please avoid including health information, sensitive data or personal information about other colleagues in your message.
Why is this data processed and on what basis?
This data is used to understand your project, contact you and prepare a proposal. Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject, or on the legitimate interest in responding to a professional enquiry on behalf of a company. The checkbox on the form confirms that you have read and understood the information about this processing. It does not result in any subscription to advertising communications.
How is the request transmitted?
The request is stored in the website's secure area, then sent by email via the Google email service used by Visibl, the website provider, from its support@visibl.site account. Nicolas Coassin is the recipient of this email. The visitor's address is used as the reply-to address. Google and the hosting providers are involved in transmission or technical storage.
Are there any international transfers?
The use of Google and the website's hosting may involve processing outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided for under the nLPD and the GDPR.
How long is the data retained?
The retention period for requests, emails and any contractual data must be determined according to the purpose of responding, applicable obligations and the need to preserve or defend rights. Data is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
What measures protect your data?
The form is validated server-side and uses an anti-bot field. Requests cannot be read by anonymous visitors. A submission limit reduces abuse: three attempts per hour from the same network origin and thirty attempts per hour in total. A technical fingerprint of the network address is used for this protection; it remains technical data that may constitute personal data.
What are your rights?
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access to, rectification and erasure of your data, as well as restriction of processing, objection to processing or data portability where these rights apply. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on it, without retroactive effect. A proportionate check of your identity may be necessary. You may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland or the competent supervisory authority in the European Union.
Cookies, external links and fonts
No advertising tracking or audience analytics tools have been added. No consent banner has therefore been installed for such tools. WhatsApp, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube links open external services subject to their own policies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: your browser may transmit technical information to Google when loading them.
How does this policy change?
This policy must be updated when processing activities or service providers change.
