In a boat,
everyone counts.

No one can move forward alone. And that is where it all begins.

Listen. Adjust. Find a shared rhythm. Rowing gives tangible form to what makes a team strong: the ability to synchronise and row in the same direction.

Fun and challenging, the experience puts people at the heart of the team — a chance to experience something different together, not just another activity.

“A successful boat is never simply the sum of good rowers. It is a group capable of working together.”

All questions
Is the discovery day suitable for beginners?

Yes, the discovery day is designed as an introductory experience open to everyone, even those with no sporting experience. Its purpose is to introduce people to rowing as a team, not to select athletes. Individual participation requirements and practical arrangements are agreed with Nicolas Coassin.

Where are the experiences held?

Esprit d'Équipe Rowing is based in Lausanne and operates in French-speaking Switzerland. The specific rowing locations, lakes and any partner clubs are agreed during your discussion. The area of operation does not constitute confirmation of a venue: this must be specified in your proposal before the experience is organised.

What does bespoke team building mean?

Bespoke team building is a format tailored to the company's objectives, the number of participants and the level of cohesion sought. It is not about offering every team the same experience. The initial conversation helps clarify your expectations, before developing a proposal with Nicolas Coassin.

Who is Nicolas Coassin?

Nicolas Coassin is the founder of Esprit d'Équipe Rowing, a former member of the French national rowing team and a professional coach for over fifteen years. He began coaching in France in 2012 and in Switzerland in 2014, including with the Swiss national team, and brings his experience of teamwork into the workplace.
